Bianca-Lee Tinson from Pandora’s at Charlestown is the new H.V.N.R. Senior of the Year for 2011. She has carried through her winning form from last year winning the Junior of the Year in 2010.

Some of the judges comments have described her cutting work as as creative and precise. As well as excellent colours with glamorous finishing.

Bianca was an early starter, she has been with Pandora’s for 9 years, starting there when she was 12.

2012 Hairdressing Championships.

The 2012 championships will be run by I.H.S. as part of their regional competition program. The date will be the 20th of May at Bimet Lodge in Union Street Newcastle. Entry forms are on the IHS Society website.

Junior of the year winner 2011 Jessica MacLeod.

Jessica is from the very successful Hollywood hair & Beauty salon in Maitland. Jessica  won both the Junior Ladies Cutting and Junior Men’s cutting events to  setup the win.

Salon of the Year 2011.

Congradulations Pandora’s Hair Witchery of Charlestown. The team from Pandora’s produced consistently stunning and artistic work to win the title. Pandora’s is owned by Julie Farragher and managed by Vicki Williams. The winning team consisted of  Bianca-Lee Tinson, Brea McNeilly, Candice DeVires, Amy Warner & Amy Owens.

With over 30 year’s in business, Pandora’s is an iconic Newcastle hairdressing salon. It also has a long history of successfully winning hair dressing competitions.

Team Event 2011.

The team event in 2011 was hotly contested. The judges finding it hard to pick a winner with so many high quality entries.  The eventual winner by a close margin was “Blanc Noir”.
